Asking a controversial question here!!

Question: Were is there a great/perfect road to practice getting my knee down...?

I know that it is a very bad idea to do on public roads, near any objects planded firmly in the ground, near trafficed areas, no clear line of sight, cops, or where any one else can be affected my lack of skill.

I only ask this question because Im trying to do this correctly and I work a ton (track days are few and far between), the road that im on now is in an undeveloped subdivioson with a slow chicane (no more than 15-20mph and have to come to a complete stop within 40yds). I am having a friend film to view proper body position and lean angle and each day am compairing aginst all riding info I can find.

If anyone knows of a safe spot to practice I would more than greatly appreciate it. (Please dont say a track, I am aware thats what their for)

I live in the bee cave/ dripping springs area

Beats me but I'd be

Beats me but I'd be interested in knowing what you find out.  I keep thinking about a big, clean parking lot

Be careful kneedragging on

Be careful kneedragging on the street.  When you're on a track you can get the tire temps up in a couple minutes and have much better traction.   You may want to consider a large empy parking lot.
