Suspension upgrade

The motorcycle obsession is like a damed sickness that hasn't let up in two years and it's doubtful it will anytime soon.  In the meantime I'm just rolling with it....

The strangest thing happened after I got my Tuono last month, I became more interested in the bike I've had for a while, the F800ST.  Weird.  I love 'em both for different reasons and I've actually thought about getting rid of the Beemer a few times and replacing it with something else (like an Aprilia Futura), but that's just the sickness talking!

Instead, I've decided to upgrade the suspension on the F800ST and see what happens.  From what I read on the F800 forum it'll feel like a new bike completely.  I'm glad On Road Off Road is here in Austin and look forward to having Roger fit my front fork with the emulators and springs from Race Tech, once I save a few more dollars.

If I ever figure out how to put the big pictures on here I'll post 'em once I get it done.

I think you've found the

I think you've found the right guy to take care of your suspension!

Just below the text box when posting you'll see a link to "Add new file."  This will upload a picture and host it at motoatx.com.

It's amazing how much

It's amazing how much different the bike feels...yeah, I know, I've read the same thing several times on forums but this time it's finally happening to my bike and I'm glad I finally took the plunge.  On Road Off Road is most definitely the place to go if you need anything from having the suspension set up for your size and riding style or upgrades done.  My bike has a non-adjustable front end and had gotten mushy to the point where I could barely stand riding it anymore.  He replaced the springs, seals, oil, one bushing, added RaceTech emulators and set up the rear pre-load and damping.  After I got it home I added some Pazzo shorties to replace the big, clumsy stock levers and it feels like I've traded in my old bike for a new one.  Awesome.
