I use to drag race a 1976

I use to drag race a 1976 Honda CB550 at Little River in the early 80's. That bike was far from stock, it had a .50 over big bore kit with a full race cam. Kerker 4 into1 header , 36mm carbs (stock was 32mm). I put the swing arm from a 750 on it so the rear wheel was about 1 inch farther bake for better traction. I would ride it from Killeen to the races. When I got there I would remove the rear shocks & install solid struts that would lower the rear about 2 inches. That bike won lots of races & even held the track record for a few years for the 600 open street class. Best part about that bike was I was always able to ride the bike home at the end of the day. I sold it 10 years ago with about 140k miles on it & wish I still had it know.
