I didn't get signed up, but I may try to swing by to spectate.

I'll be there

I'm going on Sunday - gotta finish prepping the Buell tomorrow in time for the 7:30pm early tech session.

I'm really looking forward to it, but also really terrified since it's my first motorcycle track day, and on COTA with a 150hp+ naked sportbike no less... :-/

Let me know if you make it out on Sunday!

THAT was a great event.  I

THAT was a great event.  I was surprised how many first timers it drew.  That is a heck of a track for an introduction, with so many turns and so much high speed and hard braking.

I made it out to spectate.

I made it out to spectate.  It sure looked like fun.  I can only imagine what a smooth track feels like.  Most I've done are bumpy and have lots of seams in the asphalt.  We walked out to one of the pedistrian bridges and had a really nice view of the the section after turn 2.  Not long after we were up there a COTA employee informed us we weren't supposed to be there.

I agree, as a first timer it would have been a tough track to learn on.  There are a lot to turns to learn.
